Shipping from Indonesia — What Buyers Need to Know
We ship worldwide from Tanjung Emas Port, Semarang (Central Java), approximately 2 hours from our facility in Jepara. Below is everything you need to plan your import.
Container Options
- 20ft container: ±28 m³ usable volume, max payload ±25.000 kg
- 40ft container: ±58 m³ usable volume
- 40ft High Cube (40HC): ±68 m³ usable volume — recommended for furniture (best volume-to-cost ratio)
- LCL (less than container load): possible for trial orders, though per-m³ cost is significantly higher
Loading Efficiency
Furniture ships by volume, not weight. To maximize your container value we offer:
- Knock-down (KD) construction on tables, benches, and daybeds — up to 2–3× more units per container
- Stacking designs for chairs and loungers
- Mixed loading plans — we prepare a detailed cubing calculation with every quotation so you know exactly what fits
Transit Time Estimates (from Semarang)

- USA East Coast (New York, Savannah): ±35–45 days

Packing Standard
- Single-face corrugated carton wrap with corner protection
- Silica gel packs inside cartons for humidity control
- Fumigation certificate included with every shipment
- ISPM 15 heat-treated pallets where palletized
Incoterms
Our default term is FOB Semarang — we deliver the loaded container to the vessel, and your freight forwarder handles ocean freight and destination clearance. We can also quote CIF/CNF to your port, or recommend trusted forwarders if you don't have one.
