About Our Factory

Indonesian Teak Furniture Manufacturer — Direct from Jepara

Global Teak Furniture is a teak furniture manufacturer and exporter based in Jepara, Central Java — Indonesia's historic center of wood craftsmanship for over 400 years. We work directly with international wholesalers, retailers, hospitality groups, and furniture brands, with no middlemen between your order and our workshop floor.

Why Buy Direct from the Source

  • Factory-direct pricing — you buy at manufacturer level, not through trading companies or agents.
  • Full production control — from raw timber selection to final QC, everything happens under one roof.
  • Legal, traceable timber — we use plantation teak with complete chain-of-custody documentation.

Our Production Process

  1. Timber selection — Grade A plantation teak logs, selected for density, color consistency, and minimal sapwood.
  2. Kiln drying — timber is kiln-dried to 10–12% moisture content for outdoor furniture (8–10% for indoor), preventing cracking and warping in European and North American climates.
  3. Machining & joinery — precision cutting with traditional mortise & tenon joinery, reinforced where required.
  4. Assembly & sanding — hand-assembled and fine-sanded to 220 grit for a smooth, splinter-free finish.
  5. Quality control — every piece is inspected against dimension tolerances, joint strength, and finishing standards before packing.
  6. Export packing — single-face carton with corner protection, silica gel, and fumigation certificate (ISPM 15 compliant pallets where applicable).
